Robert Wayne "Bobby" Robinson

Mr. Robert Wayne "Bobby" Robinson, age 79, passed away on Sunday evening, November 1, 2026 at Friendship Manor in Cordele.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery. Dr. Sam Harper will officiate.

Born May 8, 1947 in Americus, he was the son of the late Robert Thompson Robinson and the late Doris Collum Robinson. He was of the Christian faith, and a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam era.

He attended Georgia Southwestern College, and had worked as the manager at Pat's Place.

Survivors include his sister, Nancy Robinson; cousin Randy Robinson; and several classmates and close friends including Jimmy Williams, Chuck Smith and Joe Lewis.
