Marjorie Patrick Pollock

Marjorie Patrick Pollock, a devoted wife, mother, and faithful member of her community, passed away at the age of 92.

She was born on November 20, 1933, in Americus, Georgia, to Curtis Rankin Patrick and Marjorie Chapman Patrick. She married Curtis Harpe Pollock and resided in Leslie, Georgia, where she dedicated herself to raising their five children. In her later years, she served as bookkeeper at Pollock’s Garage in Leslie. She was also a member of Leslie Community Church.

Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Harpe Pollock; and her sister, Dolly Patrick Lincoln.

She is survived by her five children: Curtis (Trudy) Pollock Jr. of Leslie, GA; Teresa (Robert) Jeanis of O’Fallon, MO; Chuck (Nancy) Pollock of Cartersville, GA; Carl (Carmen) Pollock of Eureka, MT; and Christopher (Mary Ann) Pollock of Leesburg, GA; as well as 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A private family visitation will be held at Hancock Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14. Graveside services will follow at Leslie Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation reception directly following in the fellowship hall of Leslie Community Church, 111 E. Allen St.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Leslie Community Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
