Lois Ann Davis

Mrs. Lois Ann Davis passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13 from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Ivan Minks officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Hancock Funeral Home.  Private interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Born December 14, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Henry Prugger and the late Lois Prosser Prugger.  Mrs. Davis was of the Catholic faith and was retired from Essex Cryogenics as a metal finisher for aircraft oxygen canisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Davis, and by two sisters.

Survivors include her children: Christy Lorraine Kjos (Doug), Susan Gale Minks, Carol Southard-Stone, and Ivan Glenn Minks (Wanda), and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
