Kathryn Marceline Hurdle Law Nelson

Kathryn Marceline Hurdle Law Nelson, age 90, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at her home in Americus.   A memorial service is planned for 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, in the First Baptist Church Chapel, with Dr. Sam Harper officiating.   Born April 18, 1929 in Dahlgren, VA, she was a daughter of the late John Walton Hurdle and Kathryn Hurdle.   Survivors include her children: Fred Law, Mike Law (Christy), and Janet Harper (Sam); grandchildren: Marlee Harper, Haley Hendrickson (Kyle), Samuel Joseph Harper, Olivia Harper, and Isaac Harper; four great-grandchildren; several step-children and step-grandchildren; brother, John Hurdle; and a good friend, Louise Warren.   She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Law; by her first husband, Neal F. Law, Sr.; her second husband, Wiley Fred Nelson; and her brother, Donald Hurdle.   Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S.
