Hiley Dawn Hyleman

Mrs. Hiley Dawn Hyleman passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at her daughter's home in Albany.

Funeral services are planned for 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, in the committal pavilion at Andersonville National Historic Site.  Burial will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.

Born August 16, 1936 in Friskney, Lincolnshire England, she was a daughter of the late Cyril Simpson and the late Edith May Freshney Simpson.

She was a devoted military wife and a loving mother and worked as a teaching assistant for a number of years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Hyleman; and by her siblings: Greta Scholz, Judith Leverton, John Simpson, and Pete Simpson.

Survivors include her daughter Karen L. Hyleman; her son Mark C. Hyleman; granddaughter Leah D. Webb; grandson Hunter Hyleman; great-granddaughter Emory C. Webb; and great-grandson Charles C. Webb.
