Grover Neal Highnote

Mr. Grover Neal Highnote, age 65, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at his home.

Born on June 29, 1960, in Americus, Georgia, he was the son of the late Kay and Gloria Highnote. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Highnote; his children, Tyler Highnote of Americus, Sam and Mandie McCormick of Ocilla; Renea Hiott of Albany; his grandchildren, Brandon, Haley, Cora, Madison, Elijah, Brody, Johanna, and Raylan; his great-grandchildren, Oliver and Liam; his sister, Kayleen Cromer of Oglethorpe; his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Linda, Stephanie, Michelle, Buddy, and Larry; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Pete Highnote.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, February 25, at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee Street, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26, at Greater Vision Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 AM, with the burial to follow at the Harmony Cemetery in Richland, Georgia.
