Gabriela Orozco Corpus

Mrs. Gabriela Orozco Corpus, age 93, passed away on September 19, 2026 at her home in Americus.

Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Nate Swann officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 23, at Hancock Funeral Home, between the hours of 5:00 & 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, September 24, at Hancock Funeral Home, between the hours of 5:00 & 9:00 PM.

Born March 24, 1933 in Tlahualilo Durango Mexico, she was a daughter of the late Juan Orozco and the late Librada Subirias.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Bacilio Corpus; two sons: Carlos Corpus and Jeorge Corpus; five daughters: Diana Corpus, Laura Lopez, Nora Castillo, Angelica Carranza, and Marta Chavez; one sister, Alicia Rivera; grandchildren: Iveth Minor, Mariel Corpus, Hugo Gonzalez, Linda Garza, Gabriela Corpus, Antonio Corpus, Elsa Corpus, Jose Luis Corpus, Carlos Corpus Jr., Adriana Corpus, and Marco Antonio Corpus; and 25 great-grandchildren.
