Elsie Mae Bartoo

Mrs. Elsie Mae Bartoo, age 87, passed away on September 16, 2026 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.

As was her wish, there are no funeral services planned at this time.

Born January 18, 1939 in Dunellen, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late George Fox Allen and the late Mary Hallock Allen.  Mrs. Bartoo was a home maker, loving wife and mother, and worked for years as a manager for 7-Eleven.  She and her husband were members of Cornerstone Church and the Mission Board at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Vance Robert Bartoo; two daughters: Lori (and husband Tom) and Sherry (and husband Edward); one son, Robert (and wife Pam); five grandchildren: Joshua (and wife Michelle), Christine, Anthony, Heather, and Jennifer (and husband Ryan); and ten great-grandchildren.
