Brenda Wise Robertson

Brenda Wise Robertson, age 77, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Plains. Pastor Earl Steffens will officiate. Interment will follow in DeSoto City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 PM.

Born January 4, 1949 in Plains, she was a daughter of the late Charles Crawford Wise and the late Carrie Hampton Wise. She attended Plains High School where she enjoyed making lifelong friends and cheering for the Buffaloes. After graduating in 1967, she attended Georgia Southwestern College. Throughout her career, she worked tirelessly as office manager for several businesses before retiring from Middle Flint Behavioral Healthcare. A member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, she was an avid reader and an organizer of all things. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and dearly loved her pets and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harold Robertson. Survivors include her daughter, Stacie Howard (Steve); her son, David Tyler (Nancy); grandchildren: Madeline Johnson (Mac), Andrew Marsh (Bri), Cadence Tyler, and Delaney Tyler; great-granddaughter, Clara Johnson; brother, Jerry Wise (Carolyn); sisters: Cheryle McCrary (Bobby) and Helen Ricketts (Bill); several extended family members and many nieces and nephews.
